Over the weekend, I photographed MO PRO, the Missouri Professional Cycling Series’ “Tour de Grove.”  This race takes place in the Grove neighborhood of St. Louis.  The professional women race around the track for 60 minutes and the men race for 75 minutes without a break.  Many of them, at the end of the race, seem to barely be breathing heavily.  They are certainly some tough riders.

I think I was channeling my inner Jacques Henri Lartigue in this image and the editing

It was great to get a break from the typical event work and have the opportunity to flex my action sports photo skills again.  Having not photographed sports in a while, I shot really heavy, so these are just a tiny sample of the images captured during the race day.
